Writing as: Patrick Cosgrave
An Irishman by birth, Cosgrave was a dedicate Anglophile and moved to England at his earliest opportunity, attending Cambridge and changing his first name from Paddy to Patrick. Cosgrave was an arch-conservative who wrote as a freelancer gloringly about Margaret Thatcher. He served for a while for her while she was Leader of the Opposition but apparently his heavy drinking forced her to let him go. He died at an early age from a heart attack brought on by his poor health due to drink.
