Before heading to a mission in South America, Pike Logan and Jennifer Cahill are nearly killed in an explosion and a friend of theirs is. While the authorities put it down to a terrible accident, Logan is certain someone targeted them and that is borne out when they head to the mission and things go wrong fast.
