Cassie Russell is a 15-year old goddaughter to Speaker Mahoney. She is also the only survivor of a plane crash that took her ultra-rich parents. Joe DeMarco is sent by the Speaker to look after the girl until his wife can get there but when DeMarco decides the family's lawyer has been embezzling and may have caused the crash, DeMarco and Russell become targets.
